Christiane Monteverdi

Christiane Monteverdi is a fully credentialed Spanish and French teacher with over 15 years of experience in public and independent schools in California and abroad. She has a Bachelor of Arts in French and History from the University of California, Davis, and holds Single Subject Teaching Credentials in Spanish, French, and History from the University of San Francisco.
Christiane has been teaching at The Seven Hills School in Walnut Creek, CA, since 2011, where she created and led 12-day trips to France and Japan for middle school students, incorporating cultural, homestay, and community service elements. She is experienced in leading chaperone trainings, resolving risk management and budgetary issues, organizing activities for guest faculty, and structuring reflective synthesis time for students.
Prior to this, she taught High School Spanish at The Saudi Arabian International School in Jeddah and 6th Grade Social Studies at The American School of El Salvador. Christiane is fluent in Spanish and French, with a working knowledge of Italian, and is committed to ongoing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion work. She is also a strong collaborator and has served as an Interim Director of Extended Day."
