Megan Littlefield
Lower School Dean of Students, Third Grade
Megan Littlefield started teaching at the Academy in 2018. Before The Academy, she taught at Cathedral School for Boys in San Francisco for 3 years, and various public schools during her credentialing program. She earned her B.A. in Art Education from San Francisco State University and her Master of Arts in Curriculum Design and Instruction and her Teaching Credential from The University of the Pacific. Megan has many years of experience in education and with children that include being a nanny in both New York City and San Francisco, a counselor and camp director, an art teacher, dance teacher, and tutor. She has participated in professional development in the areas of technology, social justice, STEM, multi-sensory education, the Responsive Classroom approach, Writing Workshop, and multicultural leadership. In her free time, she enjoys riding her bike, going to ballet class, reading, creating, cooking, live music, exploring the outdoors, and taking advantage of all that the Bay Area has to offer!
